Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
अपि कीट: पतड़्जो वा भवेयं शड्कराज्ञया । न तु शक्र त्वया दत्त त्रलोक्यमपि कामये
api kīṭaḥ pataṅgo vā bhaveyaṃ śaṅkarājñayā | na tu śakra tvayā dattaṃ trailokyam api kāmaye ||
ວາສຸເທວາກ່າວວ່າ: “ດ້ວຍຄໍາສັ່ງຂອງພຣະສັງກະຣະ ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າຈະເປັນແມ່ນແຕ່ແມງນ້ອຍ ຫຼື ແມງປີກບາງກໍໄດ້; ແຕ່ໂອ ສັກຣະ, ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າບໍ່ປາຖະໜາແມ່ນແຕ່ອໍານາດເຫນືອສາມໂລກ ຖ້າເປັນຂອງທ່ານປະທານ. ສະພາບໃດກໍຕາມທີ່ມະຫາເທວະກໍານົດ—ແມ່ນແຕ່ຕໍ່າສຸດ—ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າຈະນັບເປັນການສໍາເລັດອັນສູງສຸດ; ແຕ່ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າບໍ່ປາຖະໜາຮັບອໍານາດເຫນືອເທວະທັງຫຼາຍຈາກຜູ້ອື່ນນອກຈາກພຣະອົງ.”
