एष श्राद्धविधि: प्रोक्तो यथा धर्मो न लुप्यते । पितरस्तस्य तुष्यन्ति प्रहष्टटनस: सदा
eṣa śrāddhavidhiḥ prokto yathā dharmo na lupyate | pitaras tasya tuṣyanti praharṣaṭanasāḥ sadā ||
ພີສະມະກ່າວວ່າ: «ນີ້ແມ່ນວິທີສຣາດທະ (śrāddha) ທີ່ໄດ້ປະກາດໄວ້ ເພື່ອໃຫ້ທຳມະ (dharma) ບໍ່ຖືກທໍາລາຍ ຫຼືຫາຍໄປ. ພິຕຣະ (Pitṛs) ວິນຍານບັນພະບຸລຸດ ຍ່ອມພໍໃຈຕໍ່ຜູ້ປະກອບພິທີນັ້ນ ດ້ວຍໃຈຊື່ນບານເສມອ.»
