Bṛhaspati–Yudhiṣṭhira Saṃvāda
मनसा च प्रदीप्तेन ब्रह्मज्ञानजलेन च । स्नाति यो मानसे तीर्थे तत्स्नानं तत्त्वदर्शिन:
manasā ca pradīptena brahmajñānajalena ca | snāti yo mānase tīrthe tat-snānaṁ tattvadarśinaḥ ||
ພີດສະມະກ່າວວ່າ: ຜູ້ໃດເຮັດໃຈໃຫ້ສະຫວ່າງໄສ ແລະໃຊ້ນ້ຳແຫ່ງຄວາມຮູ້ພຣະພຣົມ (Brahma-knowledge) ອາບນ້ຳໃນຕີຣຖະພາຍໃນໃຈ—ການອາບນ້ຳນັ້ນແຫຼະ ນັກເຫັນຄວາມຈິງຖືວ່າເປັນການອາບທີ່ແທ້ຈິງ.
भीष्म उवाच
True purification is primarily internal: an illumined, serene mind cleansed by Brahma-knowledge is a higher ‘bath’ than external ritual bathing. The verse elevates insight and inner transformation as the essence of tīrtha and snāna.
In Anuśāsana Parva, Bhīṣma instructs on dharma and right conduct. Here he reframes pilgrimage practice, teaching that the most authentic sacred bathing occurs in the mind through spiritual knowledge and purity of intention.
