Bṛhaspati–Yudhiṣṭhira Saṃvāda
इस जगतमें प्रज्ञान ही शरीर-शुद्धिका विशेष साधन है। इसी प्रकार अकिंचनता और मनकी प्रसन्नता भी शरीरको शुद्ध करनेवाले हैं
bhīṣma uvāca — asmin jagati prajñā eva śarīra-śuddheḥ viśeṣa-sādhanam. tathā akiñcanatā ca manasaḥ prasannatā ca śarīraṃ śodhayataḥ.
ພີດສະມະກ່າວວ່າ: ໃນໂລກນີ້ ປັນຍາອັນຮູ້ແຍກແຍະແມ່ນເຄື່ອງມືສຳຄັນຢ່າງຍິ່ງໃນການຊຳລະກາຍ. ເຊັ່ນດຽວກັນ ຄວາມບໍ່ຍຶດຖືຊັບສິນ ແລະ ໃຈທີ່ສະຫງົບພໍໃຈ ກໍເປັນສິ່ງຊຳລະຜູ້ມີກາຍໃຫ້ບໍລິສຸດ—ຊີ້ໃຫ້ເຫັນວ່າຄວາມບໍລິສຸດແທ້ຢູ່ທີ່ວິໄນພາຍໃນ ບໍ່ແມ່ນແຕ່ພິທີພາຍນອກເທົ່ານັ້ນ.
भीष्म उवाच
Purity is primarily achieved through inner qualities: wisdom (prajñā), non-possessiveness (akiñcanatā), and mental serenity (prasannatā). These refine the embodied life more effectively than external measures alone.
In the Anushasana Parva’s instruction section, Bhishma continues advising on dharma and right conduct, emphasizing that bodily purity is rooted in ethical and psychological cultivation—clear understanding, detachment, and a calm mind.
