भीष्म उवाच ज्येष्ठवत्‌ तात वर्तस्व ज्येष्ठोडसि सततं भवान्‌ । गुरोर्गरीयसी वृत्तिया च शिष्यस्यथ भारत

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | jyeṣṭhavat tāta vartasva jyeṣṭho 'si satataṁ bhavān | guror garīyasī vṛttir yā ca śiṣyasya tathā bhārata ||

Translation

ພີດສະມະກ່າວວ່າ: «ລູກເອີຍ ຈົ່ງປະພຶດຕົນໃຫ້ສົມກັບຜູ້ເປັນພີ່ໃຫຍ່ ເພາະເຈົ້າເປັນຜູ້ໃຫຍ່ກວ່າພີ່ນ້ອງທັງຫມົດຢູ່ເສມອ. ເຊັ່ນທີ່ຄູອາຈານຮັກສາທ່າທີອັນສົງ່າງາມ ໜັກແນ່ນ ແລະປົກປ້ອງຕໍ່ສິດ ເຈົ້າກໍຄວນປະພຶດຕໍ່ພີ່ນ້ອງຂອງເຈົ້າດັ່ງນັ້ນ, ໂອ ພາຣະຕະ».
