अड््गुष्ठस्य च यन्मध्यं प्रदेशिन्याश्व॒ भारत । तेन पित्र्याणि कुर्वीत स्पृष्टवापो न्न्यायत: सदा
aṅguṣṭhasya ca yan madhyaṃ pradeśinyāś ca bhārata | tena pitryāṇi kurvīta spṛṣṭvāpo nyāyataḥ sadā bhārata ||
ພີສະມະກ່າວວ່າ: ໂອ ພາຣະຕະ! ຊ່ອງກາງລະຫວ່າງນິ້ວໂປ້ມື ແລະ ນິ້ວຊີ້ ເອີ້ນວ່າ «ປິຕຣຶ-ຕີຣຖະ» (pitṛ-tīrtha) ແມ່ນຈຸດສັກສິດສຳລັບບັນພະບຸລຸດ. ໃຊ້ຈຸດນັ້ນ—ຕັກນ້ຳຕາມວິທີທີ່ຄຳພີກຳນົດ—ຄວນປະກອບພິທີແກ່ປິຕຣຶຢູ່ເສມອ ຕາມຫຼັກທີ່ຖືກຕ້ອງ.
