शतक्रतुरुवाच येषां वेदा निहिता वै गुहायां मनीषिणां सत्यवतां महात्मनाम् | तेषां त्वयैकेन महात्मनास्मि वृद्धस्तस्मात् प्रीतिमांस्तेडहमद्य
śatakratur uvāca yeṣāṃ vedā nihitā vai guhāyāṃ manīṣiṇāṃ satyavatāṃ mahātmanām | teṣāṃ tvayā ekena mahātmanā asmi vṛddhas tasmāt prītimāṃs te ’ham adya ||
ສະຕະກຣະຕຸ (ອິນທຣາ) ກ່າວວ່າ: «ໃນບັນດາມະຫາວິນຍານຜູ້ມີປັນຍາ ແລະກ່າວຄວາມຈິງ ຜູ້ທີ່ໃນຖ້ຳແຫ່ງດວງໃຈໄດ້ປະດິດສະຖິດວິດາທັງຫມົດໄວ້ຢ່າງແທ້ຈິງ ທ່ານແມ່ນຜູ້ເປັນເລີດທີ່ສຸດ. ໂອ ມະຫາວິນຍານ, ໂດຍຄວາມເມດຕາຫ່ວງໃຍເພື່ອຄວາມດີຂອງທ່ານແຕ່ຜູ້ດຽວ ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າຈຶ່ງເຈີຣິນຮຸ່ງເຮືອງ; ດັ່ງນັ້ນ ວັນນີ້ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າເຕັມໄປດ້ວຍຄວາມຮັກໃຄ່ຕໍ່ທ່ານ.»
