स्वाध्यायैस्तु महत्पापं हरन्ति गृहमेधिन:

Transliteration

svādhyāyais tu mahat pāpaṁ haranti gṛhamedhinaḥ

Translation

ຄົນຄອບຄົວ (ຄະຫັດ) ໂດຍການສວາທະຍາຍ—ການຮຽນຮູ້ດ້ວຍຕົນເອງ ແລະການສວດທ່ອງຄຳພີສັກສິດດ້ວຍຄວາມເຄົາລົບ—ຍ່ອມກຳຈັດໄດ້ແມ່ນແຕ່ບາບໃຫຍ່. ຖ້ອຍຄຳນີ້ຢືນຢັນວ່າ ການຮຽນຢ່າງມີວິໄນ ແລະການປະຕິບັດຄຳພີທຸກມື້ ບໍ່ແມ່ນແຕ່ການຮູ້ທາງປັນຍາ ແຕ່ເປັນການຊຳລະຈິດໃຈທາງສິນທຳ ທີ່ເຮັດໄດ້ໃນຊີວິດຄອບຄົວທົ່ວໄປ.
