नहुषोपाख्यानम्—दीपदान-धूप-बलीकर्म-प्रशंसा
Nahūṣa Episode and the Commendation of Lamp-Gifting and Household Offerings
निमीलय स्वनयने जटां यावद् विशामि ते । स्थाणुभूतस्य तस्याथ जटां प्राविशदच्युत:
nimīlaya svanayane jaṭāṁ yāvad viśāmi te | sthāṇubhūtasya tasyātha jaṭāṁ prāviśad acyutaḥ ||
ພີດສະມະ ກ່າວວ່າ: “ທ່ານິສີ, ຈົ່ງຫຼັບຕາໄວ້ຊົ່ວຄາວ ຈົນກວ່າຂ້າພະເຈົ້າຈະເຂົ້າໄປໃນຊົງຜົມມັດ (ຊະຕາ) ຂອງທ່ານ.” ເມື່ອິສີຫຼັບຕາແລ້ວ ຢືນນິ່ງດັ່ງເສົາ, ຜູ້ມີເທຊະອັນແຂງກ້າ ຜູ້ບໍ່ລະເມີດຂອບເຂດແຫ່ງຄວາມສົມຄວນ ກໍເຂົ້າໄປໃນຊະຕານັ້ນ—ດ້ວຍໃຈຈະໃຫ້ກະສັດຕົກຈາກສະຫວັນ. ໃນຂະນະນັ້ນເອງ ກະສັດນະຫຸສະ ຜູ້ດັ່ງອິນທຣະ ໄດ້ເຂົ້າມາຫາິສີ ເພື່ອໃຫ້ທ່ານເປັນພາຫະນະ (ຜູ້ແບກຫາມ) ຂອງຕົນ.
