दुष्यन्तेन च वीरेण यथा प्राप्ता शकुन्तला | त॑ वै पुरुषसिंहस्य भगवन्‌ विस्तरं त्वहम्‌

Transliteration

janamejaya uvāca | duṣyantena ca vīreṇa yathā prāptā śakuntalā | taṁ vai puruṣasiṁhasya bhagavan vistaraṁ tv aham |

Translation

ຈະນະເມຊະຍະ ກ່າວວ່າ: «ຂໍທ່ານຜູ້ເຄົາລົບ, ຈົ່ງເລົ່າໃຫ້ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າຟັງໂດຍລະອຽດວ່າ ສະກຸນຕະລາ (Śakuntalā) ໄດ້ຖືກວີຣະບຸລຸດ ດຸສຍັນຕະ (Duṣyanta) —ສິງໃນຫມູ່ມະນຸດ— ຮັບໄປເປັນພຣະມະເຫສີແນວໃດ; ເພາະຂ້າພະເຈົ້າປາຖະນາຈະຟັງເລື່ອງທັງມວນ»។
