Duḥṣanta–Śakuntalā: Gandharva Marriage and Succession Condition
तेषामवरजो भीष्म: कुरूणामभयंकर: । मतिमान् वेदविद् वाग्मी शत्रुपक्षक्षयंकर:
teṣām avarajo bhīṣmaḥ kurūṇām abhayaṅkaraḥ | matimān vedavid vāgmī śatrupakṣakṣayaṅkaraḥ ||
ໄວສັມປາຍະນະ ກ່າວວ່າ: ໃນພວກເຂົາ ຜູ້ນ້ອຍສຸດແມ່ນ ພີສະມະ—ຜູ້ເຮັດໃຫ້ວົງສາກຸຣຸກ້າຫານບໍ່ຫວາດຫວັນ. ທ່ານມີປັນຍາແຫຼມຄົມ ຮູ້ວິທະຍາແຫ່ງເວດ ເວົ້າຈາຄົມຄາຍ ແລະເປັນຜູ້ທຳລາຍແຖວທັບສັດຕູຢ່າງນ່າຢ້ານ.
