Duḥṣantasya Vana-praveśaḥ
King Duḥṣanta’s Entry into the Forest Hunt
माल्यदामपरिक्षिप्ता विधिवत् क्रियतेडपि च । भगवान् पूज्यते चात्र हंसरूपेण चेश्वर:
mālyadāmaparikṣiptā vidhivat kriyate 'pi ca | bhagavān pūjyate cātra haṃsarūpeṇa ceśvaraḥ ||
ໄວສັມປາຍະນະ ກ່າວວ່າ: ໄມ້ຄທານັ້ນຖືກປະດັບຕາມພິທີ ໂດຍພັນພວງມາລາ ແລະ ສາຍດອກໄມ້ ແລ້ວປະກອບພິທີຕາມຂໍ້ກຳນົດ. ທີ່ນັ້ນ ພຣະອົງ—ອິນທຣາ ຈອມເທວະ—ຖືກບູຊາໃນຮູບ “ຫັງສາ” (ຫົງ/ຫົງຂາວ) ເປັນເຄື່ອງໝາຍແຫ່ງຄວາມນົບນ້ອມ ແລະ ລະບຽບມົງຄຸນ ໃນວາລະປ່ຽນປີ.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse emphasizes vidhivat—acting according to prescribed order—showing that dharma is upheld through disciplined, reverent ritual that aligns communal life with auspicious and ethical order.
A ceremonial staff is decorated with garlands and floral strings, rites are performed properly, and Indra is worshipped in a haṃsa (swan) form as part of a calendrical/auspicious observance.
