वैशम्पायन उवाच यदर्थ शार्कईकानग्निर्न ददाह तथागते । तत्‌ ते सर्व प्रवक्ष्यामि यथाभूतमरिंदम

Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca | yadarthaṃ śārkāikān agnir na dadāha tathāgate | tat te sarvaṃ pravakṣyāmi yathābhūtam ariṃdama ||

Translation

ໄວສັມປາຍະນະ ກ່າວວ່າ: «ໂອ ຜູ້ປາບສັດຕູ! ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າຈະເລົ່າໃຫ້ທ່ານຟັງໂດຍຄົບຖ້ວນ ຕາມຄວາມເປັນຈິງ ວ່າເປັນເຫດໃດ ເຖິງແມ່ນໄຟພິນາດອັນນ່າຢ້ານນັ້ນຈະເກີດຂຶ້ນແລ້ວ ພຣະອັກນີກໍບໍ່ໄດ້ເຜົາພວກ ສາຣກາອິກະ ແລະເຫດການນັ້ນເກີດຂຶ້ນຢ່າງໃດ. ຈົ່ງຟັງ!»
