तत्रोपविष्टौ मुदितौ नाकपृष्ेउश्चिनाविव । अभ्यागच्छत् तदा विप्रो वासुदेवधनंजयौ
tatro'paviṣṭau muditau nākapṛṣṭhe'śvināv iva | abhyāgacchat tadā vipro vāsudeva-dhanañjayau ||
ໄວສັມປາຍະນະ ກ່າວວ່າ: ທີ່ນັ້ນ ວາສຸເທວະ ແລະ ທະນັນຊະຍະ ນັ່ງຄູ່ກັນດ້ວຍຄວາມຍິນດີ ສ່ອງສະຫວ່າງດັ່ງຄູ່ອັສວິນໃນສະຫວັນ. ໃນຂະນະນັ້ນເອງ ພຣາຫມັນຜູ້ໜຶ່ງໄດ້ເຂົ້າມາຫາທັງສອງ.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse foregrounds dharma through social ethics: when a Brahmin approaches, those endowed with power and glory are expected to respond with proper respect, hospitality, and readiness to hear a request.
Kṛṣṇa (Vāsudeva) and Arjuna (Dhanañjaya) are sitting happily and appear radiant like the heavenly Aśvins; at that moment a Brahmin arrives to meet them, setting up the next episode involving a supplication or counsel.
