नियोगप्रसङ्गः — The Niyoga Episode: Births of Dhṛtarāṣṭra, Pāṇḍu, and Vidura
यस्मान्मे वसवो जह्र्गा वै दोग्ध्रीं सुवालधिम् । तस्मात् सर्वे जनिष्यन्ति मानुषेषु न संशय:
yasmān me vasavo jahruḥ vai dogdhrīṃ suvaladhim | tasmāt sarve janiṣyanti mānuṣeṣu na saṃśayaḥ ||
ໄວສຳປາຍະນະ ກ່າວວ່າ: “ເນື່ອງຈາກວະສຸທັງຫຼາຍໄດ້ພາເອົາງົວໃຫ້ນົມຂອງຂ້າ—ຜູ້ມີຫາງງາມ—ໄປແທ້ໆ, ດັ່ງນັ້ນ ພວກເຂົາທຸກຄົນຈະເກີດໃນມະນຸດໂລກ; ບໍ່ມີຂໍ້ສົງໄສ.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even powerful or divine beings are bound by dharma: wrongful taking (theft/abduction) produces inevitable karmic consequence, here expressed as compulsory birth in the human realm.
The speaker declares a consequence for the Vasus because they abducted his milch-cow with a beautiful tail; as a result, all of them are destined to be born as humans, without doubt.
