Adhyaya 71: पुरत्रयवृत्तान्तः—ब्रह्मवरदानम्, मयकृतत्रिपुर-निर्माणम्, विष्णुमाया-धर्मविघ्नः, शिवस्तुति, त्रिपुरदाहोपक्रमः

संकीर्णं तु दिवः पृष्ठं नक्षत्रैरिव सुव्रताः कुसुमैः संवृतो नन्दी वृषपृष्ठे रराज सः

saṃkīrṇaṃ tu divaḥ pṛṣṭhaṃ nakṣatrairiva suvratāḥ kusumaiḥ saṃvṛto nandī vṛṣapṛṣṭhe rarāja saḥ

«ໂອ ຜູ້ມີວັດຕະອັນດີ, ເຊັ່ນດຽວກັບພື້ນຟ້າທີ່ກະຈາຍໄປດ້ວຍດາວນັກສັດ, ນັນດີ—ຖືກປົກຄຸມດ້ວຍດອກໄມ້—ກໍສ່ອງສະຫວ່າງຢູ່ເທິງຫຼັງຂອງວົວ (ວຶຩ)»।
