iti tasya vacaḥ pādmo bhagavān paripālayan abhyadhād bhadrayā vācā mā rodīs tat karomi te
This verse shows Brahmā replying with bhadrayā vācā—gentle, auspicious words—calming distress by offering clear reassurance: “Do not weep; I will do that for you.”
In the creation narrative, Brahmā responds to an appeal made to him and, honoring the request, comforts the distressed party by promising to fulfill what was asked.
When someone is anxious or grieving, respond first with steadiness and kind speech, then offer practical help—calm the heart (“do not weep”) and follow through (“I will do it”).
