This verse states that since Krishna’s descent into the Yadu dynasty, one hundred autumns had passed, plus an additional twenty-five—indicating a span of about 125 years.
Uddhava is acknowledging the nearing completion of Krishna’s manifest pastimes on earth and the approaching turn of events for the Yadu dynasty, expressing reverence and concern within the unfolding narrative.
It reminds us that time moves inevitably; therefore, one should prioritize bhakti and spiritual purpose rather than postponing devotion and self-realization.
