This verse shows Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma fulfilling their guru’s request as guru-dakṣiṇā, teaching that sincere service to the spiritual master is sacred and central to dharma and bhakti.
Because Sāndīpani Muni instructed Them to do so as his desired guru-dakṣiṇā, and They honored his wish by retrieving the boy from Yama’s abode.
By respecting teachers and mentors, serving with integrity, keeping promises, and placing dharma-filled gratitude above personal convenience.
