Sukta 1
सोमं मन्यते पपिवान् यत् संपिंषन्त्योषधिम्। सोमं यं ब्रह्माणो विदुर्न तस्याश्नाति पार्थिवः
sómaṃ manyate papivā́n yát sáṃ piṃṣánty óṣadhim | sómaṃ yáṃ brā́hmaṇo vidúr ná tásyāśnāti pārthiváḥ ||
He deems it Soma, having drunk, when they crush the herb together. But the Soma which the Brahmans know—of that the earthly man partakes not.
