धनधर्मक्षयस्तेषां पठनादाशु जायते ॥ पठेद्भागवतानां च ये च धर्मेण दीक्षिताः ॥

dhana-dharma-kṣayas teṣāṃ paṭhanād āśu jāyate || paṭhed bhāgavatānāṃ ca ye ca dharmeṇa dīkṣitāḥ ||

ಇಂತಹ ಪಠಣದಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಧನವೂ ಧರ್ಮವೂ ಶೀಘ್ರವಾಗಿ ಕ್ಷಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಭಾಗವತ ಭಕ್ತರಿಗೂ ಧರ್ಮವಿಧಿಯಿಂದ ದೀಕ್ಷಿತರಿಗೂ ಹಿತಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಪಠಿಸಬೇಕು.
