ಗೃಹಸ್ಥನು ಸದಾ ಆಚಾರಪಾಲನೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು; ಆಚಾರವಿಲ್ಲದವನಿಗೆ ಇಹದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮಂಗಳವಿಲ್ಲ.
