Verse 13

Sita

सा देवी त्रिविधा भवति—शक्त्यासना, इच्छाशक्तिः, क्रियाशक्तिः, साक्षाच्छक्तिरिति। इच्छाशक्तिस्त्रिविधा भवति—श्रीभूमिनीलात्मिका, भद्ररूपिणी, प्रभावरूपिणी; सोमसूर्याग्निरूपा भवति। सोमात्मिका ओषधीनां प्रभवति—कल्पवृक्षपुष्पफललतागुल्मात्मिका, औषधभेषजात्मिका, अमृतरूपा; देवानां महस्तोमफलप्रदा, अमृतेन तृप्तिं जनयन्ती; देवानामन्नेन, पशूनां तृणेन, तत्तज्जीवानाम्॥११–१३॥

sā devī trividha bhavati—śaktyāsanā, icchāśaktiḥ, kriyāśaktiḥ, sākṣācchaktir iti | icchāśaktis trividha bhavati—śrībhūminīlātmikā, bhadrarūpiṇī, prabhāvarūpiṇī; somasūryāgnirūpā bhavati | somātmikā oṣadhīnāṃ prabhavati—kalpavṛkṣapuṣpaphalalatāgulmātmikā, auṣadhabheṣajātmikā, amṛtarūpā; devānāṃ mahāstomaphalapradā, amṛtena tṛptiṃ janayantī; devānām annena, paśūnāṃ tṛṇena, tattajjīvānām ||11–13||

ಆ ದೇವಿ ತ್ರಿವಿಧಳಾಗುತ್ತಾಳೆ—ಆಸನರೂಪ ಶಕ್ತಿ, ಇಚ್ಛಾಶಕ್ತಿ, ಕ್ರಿಯಾಶಕ್ತಿ, ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಕ್ಷಾತ್ (ತಕ್ಷಣ) ಶಕ್ತಿ. ಇಚ್ಛಾಶಕ್ತಿಯೂ ತ್ರಿವಿಧ—ಶ್ರೀ-ಭೂಮಿ-ನೀಲಾ ಸ್ವಭಾವಿಣಿ, ಭದ್ರ (ಮಂಗಳ) ರೂಪಿಣಿ, ಪ್ರಭಾ (ತೇಜಸ್ಸು) ರೂಪಿಣಿ; ಮತ್ತು ಅವಳು ಸೋಮ-ಸೂರ್ಯ-ಅಗ್ನಿ ರೂಪಗಳಾಗುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಸೋಮಾತ್ಮಿಕಳಾಗಿ ಅವಳು ಔಷಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಉದ್ಭವಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಾಳೆ—ಕಲ್ಪವೃಕ್ಷದ ಪುಷ್ಪ-ಫಲ-ಲತಾ-ಗುಲ್ಮ ಸ್ವರೂಪವಾಗಿ, ಔಷಧ-ಭೇಷಜ ಸ್ವರೂಪವಾಗಿ, ಅಮೃತರೂಪವಾಗಿ; ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಮಹಾಸೋಮಯಾಗದ ಫಲವನ್ನು ನೀಡುವವಳು, ಅಮೃತದಿಂದ ತೃಪ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡುವವಳು; ದೇವರನ್ನು ಅನ್ನದಿಂದ, ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನು ತೃಣದಿಂದ, ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಜೀವವನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕ ಆಹಾರದಿಂದ ಪೋಷಿಸುವವಳು.

That Goddess is threefold: (as) the power that is the seat (of all), the power of will, the power of action, and the power that is immediate (direct). The power of will is threefold: having the nature of Śrī, Bhūmi, and Nīlā; of auspicious form; of the form of splendor. She becomes of the forms of Soma, Sūrya, and Agni. As Soma in essence she brings forth the plants—having the nature of the wish-fulfilling tree’s flowers, fruits, creepers, and shrubs; having the nature of medicines and remedies; of the form of nectar; bestowing upon the gods the fruit of the great Soma-rite; producing satisfaction by nectar—(nourishing) the gods by food, cattle by grass, and each class of living beings accordingly.
