Naadbindu
उदासीनस्ततो भूत्वा सदाभ्यासेन संयमी । उन्मनीकारकं सद्यो नादमेवावधारयेत्॥४०॥
उदासीनः । ततः । भूत्वा । सदा-अभ्यासेन । संयमी । उन्मनी-कारकम् । सद्यः । नादम्-एव । अवधारयेत् ॥४०॥
udāsīnas tato bhūtvā sadābhyāsena saṃyamī | unmanīkārakaṃ sadyo nādam evāvadhārayet ||40||
ನಂತರ ಬಾಹ್ಯ ವಿಷಯಗಳತ್ತ ಉದಾಸೀನನಾಗಿ, ನಿರಂತರ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸದಿಂದ ಸಂಯಮಿಯಾದ ಸಾಧಕನು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಉನ್ಮನೀ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡುವ ನಾದವನ್ನೇ ದೃಢವಾಗಿ ಅವಧಾರಿಸಲಿ.
Then, becoming indifferent (to external objects), the self-controlled one, by constant practice, should immediately fix (his attention) on sound (nāda) alone, which produces the state of unmanī.
