ऋषय ऊचुः । दैत्येन्द्र संशयोऽस्माकं तं त्वं छेत्तुमिहार्हसि । इयं का गोमती तत्र केनानीता महामते
ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | daityendra saṃśayo'smākaṃ taṃ tvaṃ chettumihārhasi | iyaṃ kā gomatī tatra kenānītā mahāmate
ಋಷಿಗಳು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಹೇ ದೈತ್ಯೇಂದ್ರ, ನಮಗೆ ಒಂದು ಸಂಶಯವಿದೆ; ಅದನ್ನು ನೀವು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಿವಾರಿಸಬೇಕು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಗೋಮತೀ ಯಾರು, ಮತ್ತು ಯಾರಿಂದ ಆನೀತಳಾದಳು, ಹೇ ಮಹಾಮತೇ?
