ದ್ವಾದಶಿ ರವಿವಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಶ್ರೀವೃಕ್ಷ (ತುಳಸಿ) ಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಚಿಸುವವರು, ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಹತ್ಯಾದಿ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರೂ ಸಹ ಅವುಗಳಿಂದ ಲಿಪ್ತರಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ।
