tathā tathā prakarttavyaṃ yena tuṣṭirbhavettava | tathyametanmayā kṛṣṇa tavāgre parikīrtitam
Candraśarman (addressing Śrī Kṛṣṇa)
Tirtha: Dvārakā
Type: kshetra
Scene: Facing Kṛṣṇa, the devotee raises joined palms and speaks a solemn vow; the sanctum is quiet, lamps steady, and the deity’s gaze is compassionate; attendants pause as if witnessing a binding saṅkalpa.
Bhakti culminates in a clear vow of surrender: living solely for the Lord’s pleasure.
Dvārakā, as the setting where such direct pledges before Kṛṣṇa are portrayed as spiritually potent.
A general prescription of acting in all ways to please the Lord—summarizing prior devotional disciplines.
