yugādiṣu ca saṃpūjya hyayane dakṣiṇottare | āṣāḍhajyeṣṭhamāgheṣu pauṣādidvādaśīṣu ca

Translation

ಯುಗಾದಿ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ದಕ್ಷಿಣಾಯನ-ಉತ್ತರಾಯನ ಸಂಧಿಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆಷಾಢ, ಜ್ಯೇಷ್ಠ, ಮಾಘ ಮಾಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ಮತ್ತು ಪೌಷದಿಂದ ಆರಂಭವಾಗುವ ದ್ವಾದಶೀ ವ್ರತದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಧಿಪೂರ್ವಕ ಪೂಜೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಮಹಾಪುಣ್ಯ ಲಭಿಸುತ್ತದೆ।
