Transliteration

kuśena preṣitaścāsmi samīpe te janārdana | kiṃ tavāpakṛtaṃ nātha yena daityāñjighāṃsasi

Translation

ಓ ಜನಾರ್ದನನೇ! ಕುಶನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಓ ನಾಥನೇ! ಅವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಏನು ಅಪಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಅದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ದೈತ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಲು ಬಯಸುತ್ತಿರುವೆ?
