ईश्वर उवाच । केनापराधिता देवाः केन वा मानमर्द्दिताः । मर्त्ये स्वर्गेऽथवा नागे शीघ्रं कथय ताचिरम्
īśvara uvāca | kenāparādhitā devāḥ kena vā mānamardditāḥ | martye svarge'thavā nāge śīghraṃ kathaya tāciram
ಈಶ್ವರನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ದೇವರೆ, ನಿಮಗೆ ಯಾರು ಅಪಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ? ಯಾರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಾನವನ್ನು ಮರ್ಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ—ಮರ್ತ್ಯಲೋಕದಲ್ಲೋ, ಸ್ವರ್ಗದಲ್ಲೋ, ನಾಗಲೋಕದಲ್ಲೋ? ಶೀಘ್ರವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿರಿ; ವಿಳಂಬ ಮಾಡಬೇಡಿ।
