श्रीराम उवाच । का त्वं शुभे कस्य परिग्रहो वा केनावधूता विजने निरस्ता । मुष्टं धनं केन च तावकीनमाचक्ष्व मातः सकलं ममाग्रे
śrīrāma uvāca | kā tvaṃ śubhe kasya parigraho vā kenāvadhūtā vijane nirastā | muṣṭaṃ dhanaṃ kena ca tāvakīnamācakṣva mātaḥ sakalaṃ mamāgre
ಶ್ರೀರಾಮನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಹೇ ಶುಭೆ, ನೀನು ಯಾರು? ಯಾರ ಪತ್ನಿ? ಯಾರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಈ ನಿರ್ಜನ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ತಳ್ಳಿಹಾಕಿ ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿದರು? ಮತ್ತು ಯಾರು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಷ್ಟಿಮಾತ್ರ ಧನವನ್ನು ಅಪಹರಿಸಿದರು? ಹೇ ಮಾತೆ, ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳು।
