तपोभंगं प्रकुरुते कंपयित्वा महासुरम् । ताडयंति शरीरे तं मुष्टिभिस्तीक्ष्णकर्कशैः
tapobhaṃgaṃ prakurute kaṃpayitvā mahāsuram | tāḍayaṃti śarīre taṃ muṣṭibhistīkṣṇakarkaśaiḥ
ಅವರು ಮಹಾಸುರನನ್ನು ಕಂಪಿಸಿ ಅವನ ತಪಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಭಂಗಪಡಿಸಿದರು; ಬಳಿಕ ಕಠಿಣ, ತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣ, ಕರ್ಕಶ ಮುಷ್ಟಿಘಾತಗಳಿಂದ ಅವನ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದರು।
