ततस्त्रिशूलेन हतो हृदये निपपात ह । मूर्छां विहाय दैत्योऽसौ मायां कृत्वा च राक्षसीम्
tatastriśūlena hato hṛdaye nipapāta ha | mūrchāṃ vihāya daityo'sau māyāṃ kṛtvā ca rākṣasīm
ನಂತರ ತ್ರಿಶೂಲದಿಂದ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹತನಾಗಿ ಅವನು ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದನು. ಮೂರ್ಚೆಯನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿ ಆ ದೈತ್ಯನು ರಾಕ್ಷಸೀಸಮಾನವಾದ ಮಾಯೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದನು।
