saṃkalpaṃ pravadettatra pūjāraṃbhe samāhitaḥ | kṛtāṃjalipuṭo bhūtvā ciṃtayeddhṛdi śaṃkaram

Translation

ಪೂಜಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಹಿತನಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪವನ್ನು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು. ನಂತರ ಅಂಜಲಿಬದ್ಧನಾಗಿ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಂಕರನನ್ನು ಧ್ಯಾನಿಸಬೇಕು।
