महाजनान्याचयितुं चचाल च शनैःशनैः । करावलंबेनान्यस्याः प्राग्जन्मार्जितकर्मणा । दिनैः कतिपयैर्याती गोकर्णं क्षेत्रमाययौ
mahājanānyācayituṃ cacāla ca śanaiḥśanaiḥ | karāvalaṃbenānyasyāḥ prāgjanmārjitakarmaṇā | dinaiḥ katipayairyātī gokarṇaṃ kṣetramāyayau
ಮಹಾಜನರಿಂದ ಭಿಕ್ಷೆ ಬೇಡಲು ಅವಳು ನಿಧಾನವಾಗಿ ನಿಧಾನವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯತೊಡಗಿದಳು; ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬಳ ಕೈಯ ಆಸರೆಯಿಂದ, ಪೂರ್ವಜನ್ಮಾರ್ಜಿತ ಕರ್ಮದ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಿಂದ. ಕೆಲವು ದಿನಗಳ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದ ಬಳಿಕ ಅವಳು ಗೋಕರ್ಣ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರವನ್ನು ತಲುಪಿದಳು.
