तस्मिन्मृते कृतोद्वाहे सहसा तस्य बांधवाः । चुक्रुशुः शोकसंतप्तौ श्वशुरावस्य कन्यका
tasminmṛte kṛtodvāhe sahasā tasya bāṃdhavāḥ | cukruśuḥ śokasaṃtaptau śvaśurāvasya kanyakā
ವಿವಾಹ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟೇ ನೆರವೇರಿದ್ದಾಗಲೇ ಅವನು ಅಚಾನಕ ಮೃತನಾದನು; ಆಗ ಅವನ ಬಂಧುಗಳು ಶೋಕದಿಂದ ಕಂಗೆಟ್ಟು ಅಳಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು, ಶ್ವಶುರನೂ ನವವಧುವೂ ದುಃಖಾಗ್ನಿಯಿಂದ ದಗ್ಧರಾದರು।
