ಆ ಭಸ್ಮದಿಂದ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಲಲಾಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡ್ಡವಾಗಿ ತ್ರಿಪುಂಡ್ರವನ್ನು ಎಳೆದನು. ಅದರ ಅನುಭವದಿಂದ ಅವನು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮರಾಕ್ಷಸತ್ವವನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿದನು.
