इदानीं श्रोतुमिच्छामो माहात्म्यं त्रिपुरद्विषः । तद्भक्तानां च माहात्म्यमशेषाघहरं परम्
idānīṃ śrotumicchāmo māhātmyaṃ tripuradviṣaḥ | tadbhaktānāṃ ca māhātmyamaśeṣāghaharaṃ param
ಈಗ ನಾವು ತ್ರಿಪುರದ್ವೇಷಿ (ಶಿವ)ನ ಮಹಾತ್ಮ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲು ಇಚ್ಛಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ; ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವನ ಭಕ್ತರ ಪರಮ ಮಹಾತ್ಮ್ಯವನ್ನೂ—ಅದು ಉಳಿಕೆ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಎಲ್ಲ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಣಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ।
