This is a colophon marking the completion of a chapter, affirming that Kriyāyoga—disciplined sacred practice leading toward purification and Śiva-realization—has been formally taught within the Umāsaṃhitā.
By naming the chapter as “Kriyāyoga-nirūpaṇa,” it frames Śaiva worship as a structured path of practice—typically including orderly rituals and observances directed to Saguna Śiva (often through Liṅga-upāsanā) that mature the seeker toward higher realization.
The verse itself is a chapter-ending marker, but its title points to Kriyāyoga—regular disciplined worship and yogic observance—commonly supported in Śaiva practice by mantra-japa (e.g., pañcākṣarī), purity disciplines, and focused meditation on Śiva.
