Saṃjñā–Chāyā Upākhyāna: Sūrya-tejas, Substitution, and the Birth of Manu, Yama, and Yamunā
मनुः प्रजापतिस्त्वासीत्सावर्णिस्स तपोधनः । भाव्यः स कर्मणा तेन मनोस्सावर्णिकेंतरे
manuḥ prajāpatistvāsītsāvarṇissa tapodhanaḥ | bhāvyaḥ sa karmaṇā tena manossāvarṇikeṃtare
ಸಾವರ್ಣಿಯೇ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಮನು, ಪ್ರಜಾಪತಿ, ತಪಸ್ಸಿನ ನಿಧಿ. ತನ್ನ ಕರ್ಮಪುಣ್ಯದ ಬಲದಿಂದ ವೈವಸ್ವತ ಮನುವಿನ ನಂತರದ ಸಾವರ್ಣಿ ಮನ್ವಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಮನು ಆಗುವನು.
