सृष्टिविस्तारप्रश्नः (Sṛṣṭi-vistāra-praśnaḥ) — The Detailed Inquiry into Creation
तस्य शाखो विशाखश्च नैगमेयश्च पृष्ठतः । अपत्यं कृत्तिकानां तु कार्तिकेय इति स्मृतः
tasya śākho viśākhaśca naigameyaśca pṛṣṭhataḥ | apatyaṃ kṛttikānāṃ tu kārtikeya iti smṛtaḥ
ಅವನಿಂದ ಶಾಖ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶಾಖ ಜನಿಸಿದರು; ಅವರ ಹಿಂದೆ ನೈಗಮೇಯನೂ ಜನಿಸಿದನು. ಆದರೆ ಕೃತ್ತಿಕೆಯರ ಸಂತಾನ ‘ಕಾರ್ತಿಕೇಯ’ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಸ್ಮರಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ.
