कदाचिदतिथिः कश्चित्क्षुत्तृषाक्षामतर्षितः । तामुवाच स भर्ता ते क्व गतश्चेति तं च सा
kadācidatithiḥ kaścitkṣuttṛṣākṣāmatarṣitaḥ | tāmuvāca sa bhartā te kva gataśceti taṃ ca sā
ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಅತಿಥಿ ಹಸಿವು-ಬಾಯಾರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಕಂಗೆಟ್ಟು ಬಂದನು. ಆಗ ಅವಳ ಗಂಡನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ—“ನೀನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋದೆಯೆ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು; ಅವಳೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದಳು.
