Kṛṣṇādi-Śivabhaktoddhāraṇa & Śiva-māhātmya-varṇana
Deliverance of Krishna and other devotees; Description of Shiva’s Greatness
śrīkṛṣṇaḥ prāṃjalirdṛṣṭvā vismayotphullalocanaḥ | īdṛśaṃ śaṃkaraṃ prītaḥ praṇanāma mahotsavaḥ

It highlights the transformative power of Śiva-darśana: even a great divine personality responds with humility, devotion, and inner celebration, showing that reverence to Pati (Śiva) is the mark of true spiritual maturity.
The verse emphasizes Saguna worship—responding to the Lord’s manifest, graspable presence (Śaṅkara ‘in such a form’). This same devotional response is foundational in Liṅga-upāsanā, where the devotee approaches Śiva with añjali, awe, and surrender.
Practice añjali (joined palms) and namaskāra before Śiva—especially during darśana of the Liṅga—cultivating bhāva (devotional feeling). Mentally pair it with steady remembrance of the Panchākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” as an inner act of bowing.
