दाता रसान्तवित्तस्य राज्यस्य गजवाजिनाम् । आत्मदेहस्य यस्यापि कलत्रस्य न कर्हिचित्

Transliteration

dātā rasāntavittasya rājyasya gajavājinām | ātmadehasya yasyāpi kalatrasya na karhicit

Translation

ಅವನು ಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ಧನ-ನಿಧಿ, ರಾಜ್ಯ, ಆನೆ-ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ದಾನ ಮಾಡಬಲ್ಲನು; ಆದರೆ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಆತ್ಮದೇಹವನ್ನಾಗಲಿ, ತನ್ನ ಪತ್ನಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ, ಎಂದಿಗೂ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿ ಕೊಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
