bhavadvadhārthaṃ janitastvaṣṭrāyaṃ tapasā surāḥ | vṛtro nāma mahātejāḥ sarvadaityādhipo mahān

ಓ ದೇವತೆಗಳೇ! ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿನಾಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತ್ವಷ್ಟನು ತಪಸ್ಸಿನ ಮೂಲಕ ವೃತ್ರನೆಂಬ ಮಹಾತೇಜಸ್ವಿಯಾದ ಮತ್ತು ದೈತ್ಯರ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ।
