गोत्र-प्रवर-प्रश्नः तथा तिथ्यादि-कीर्तनं
Gotra–Pravara Inquiry and Proclamation of Auspicious Time
तस्मात्त्वया शिवा तात सुविचार्य प्रयत्नतः । न कर्तव्यो विमर्शोऽत्र त्वेवंविधवरे मनाक्
tasmāttvayā śivā tāta suvicārya prayatnataḥ | na kartavyo vimarśo'tra tvevaṃvidhavare manāk
ಆದುದರಿಂದ, ಪ್ರಿಯ ಮಗನೇ, ಶಿವಾ (ಪಾರ್ವತಿ) ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನದಿಂದ ಸುಚಿಂತನೆ ಮಾಡು. ಈ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಪವೂ ಸಂಶಯ ಅಥವಾ ಹಿಂಜರಿಕೆ ಬೇಡ; ನೀನು ಈ ಸಂಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯ ವರನು।
