नामाष्टकेन सम्पूज्य ब्राह्मणैर्वेदपारगैः । जपेद्ब्रह्मविदाप्नोति भृगुर्वै वारुणिस्ततः
nāmāṣṭakena sampūjya brāhmaṇairvedapāragaiḥ | japedbrahmavidāpnoti bhṛgurvai vāruṇistataḥ
ಅಷ್ಟ ಪವಿತ್ರ ನಾಮಗಳಿಂದ ವಿಧಿಪೂರ್ವಕ ಪೂಜಿಸಿ, ವೇದಪಾರಂಗತ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣರೊಂದಿಗೆ, ನಂತರ ಜಪ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು; ಅದರಿಂದ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮವಿದ್ಯೆಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ (ಬ್ರಹ್ಮವಿತ್ ಪದ) ಲಭಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ನಂತರ ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ವಾರುಣಿ ಭೃಗು ಕೂಡ ಆ ಪದವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದನು.
