tvám índra balā́d ádhi | sáhaso jātá ójasaḥ | tváṃ sán vṛ́ṣan vṛ́ṣed ási ||

ಓ ಇಂದ್ರ, ನೀನು ಬಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನು; ಸಹಸ (ಪರಾಕ್ರಮ)ದಿಂದ ಜನಿಸಿದವನು, ಓಜಸ್ (ವೀರ್ಯ)ದಿಂದ ಯುಕ್ತನು; ನೀನು ಸದಾ ವೃಷಭಸ್ವರೂಪನಾಗಿ ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಅತಿಪರಾಕ್ರಮಿ.
