Agni as the powerful guide of the sacrifice who grants safe passage to wealth, strength, and divine order (ṛta)
त्वं हि क्षैतवद्यशो ऽग्ने मित्रो न पत्यसे त्वं विचर्षणे श्रवो वसो पुष्टिं न पुष्यसि

ಹೇ ಅಗ್ನಿ, ನೀನು ಕ್ಷೈತವತ್—ಭೌಮ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿನ ಮೇಲೆ—ಮಿತ್ರನಂತೆ ಅಧಿಪತ್ಯ ವಹಿಸಿ ಆಳುತ್ತೀ; ಹೇ ವಸು, ಮನುಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಶ್ರವಃ (ಕೀರ್ತಿ) ವೃದ್ಧಿಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ಪುಷ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಪೋಷಣೆಯಂತೆ ಪೋಷಿಸುತ್ತೀ.
