आ ते रुचः पवमानस्य सोम योषेव यन्ति सुदुघाः सुधाराः । हरिरानीतः पुरुवारो अप्स्वचिक्रदत्कलशे देवयूनाम् ॥

ā́ te rúcaḥ pávamānasya soma yóṣeva yanti su-dúghāḥ su-dhārā́ḥ | hárir ā́nītaḥ puru-vā́ro apsv ácikradat kalaśé deva-yūnā́m ||

ಹೇ ಶುದ್ಧಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸೋಮ, ನಿನ್ನ ರುಚಿಗಳು (ಕಾಂತಿಗಳು) ಸುಧಾರೆಯುಳ್ಳ, ಸುದುಘಾ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರಂತೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತವೆ. ಹರಿ (ತಾಮ್ರ-ಹಳದಿ) ವರ್ಣದವನು, ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತರಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು, ಬಹು ಇಷ್ಟನಾಗಿ, ಅಪ್ಸು (ಜಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ) ಘೋಷಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ—ದೇವಯುಗಳ ಕಲಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಧ್ವನಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
